In the early hours of August 16th Jessie’s home was just buzzing with energy. I arrived to a house filled with laughter and happiness as she and her bridesmaids prepared for the day ahead, it was such a lovely warm environment to step into. I’ve known Jessie for many years so I knew that my morning with her would be nothing short of joyful, but to be able to help her capture the inner-happiness that she exudes and turn it into an outward expression as a radiant bridal makeup look was an absolute honor.

She of course had requested my signature glowing perfected skinbase, which was started by taking care of her skin using my new obsession, Muihood. Once her skinbase was well prepped I took Typology’s Tinted Skincare range to create a complexion canvas that would look both flawless and healthy. The hybrid skincare make-up that typology create are great for that natural radiant effect as it’s boosting your skin health alongside their pigmented payoff. I buffed the pigments gently to only correct, and colour or provide coverage where necessary using the Jo Leversuch Multi Use Brush to ensure a really diffused and blended feel.

Though her skinbase was giving fresh and glowy, she brought a hint of drama by opting for a small cat flick eyeliner moment. I used the Ariane Poole Gel Eyeliner Pencil in shade sienna for a delicate but precise line in a great cool toned brown that would match nicely with her overall look.
