Spring, spring, spring! That’s what comes to mind when I think of the delicate floral fantasy created for Belle Bridal Magazine’s Issue 26 Cover shoot. You’ve seen the magic between the glossy pages that we created for the editoral shoot I worked on showcasing all things glowing and bronzed, now it’s time for the breath of fresh bridal air that is the front page!
The awesome team set the studio up with an unreal fresh floral arch by Wild and Wonderful Flowers that was paralleled in beauty by the Badgley Mischka gowns carrying through the same hues of ivory and baby blues that adorned the arrangement. Another incredible day working with the talented teams that bring these images to life, this cover felt extra special to be included in their celebratory issue marking 25 years of epic wedding inspiration.
The makeup was all about aluding that sense of pure sophistication, a style that exudes class and elegance. Known for her timeless sophistication, I decided to take some notes out of the Audrey Hepburn playbook by giving model Lauren filled, well defined brows and a strong cat eye flicked eyeliner. As always I took an assortment of my kit from WBCo, it’s my favourite way to carve out a brow look that still looks natural.
Bringing in the delicate pinks of the flower arch as soft rosy toned wisps across the the lids using Lisa Eldridge’s Eyeshadow Palette in Myth made the whole look feel cohesive. Finally to keep things ultra delicate SUQQU’s Melting Powder Blush has a unique high oil content formula that gives a gentle flush to the cheeks with its translucent finish.
Sometimes, the best front cover worthy make-up is to keep it classic!
Enjoy, Jo x
