Today I’m sharing with you an exciting sneak peek of what’s to come from Belle Bridal Magazine’s issue 24: Bloom, which has just been released! You can order yours here, although I am sure I’ll be sharing more of what’s inside soon as people receive their copies, you wouldn’t want to miss all the other juicy wedding details that fill its glossy pages.
For this AW21 edition I wanted to keep things truly simple and elegant. In spirit of that I chose to just work with products from SUQQU for things to remain uncomplicated. I know with using just SUQQU from their skin care, base make-up to colour make-up I am still spoilt for choice for front cover worthy products.
I started the look off with the Aqufons skincare range following its 3 steps to create a hydrated radiance to the skin. This approach involves layering their Refining Serum, Hydrating Lotion and Replenishing Fluid for a multidimensional approach to envoke the look and sensation of deeply moisturised skin that wells up from within like its own natural spring. It might sound like a bit of a magical unattainable idea, but genuinely following the steps really does create a lasting hydration to the skin that makes it such a dream to work with.
My favourite from the range is the Aqufons Refining Serum from step one. If I am looking for instant radiant skin this is the one to pick up out of my kit, it’s such a delightly to apply and has that wow factor of quickly brightening dull skin and leaving a lasting radiance.
Moving on to the make-up I wanted to keep the glowing skin theme going by using the SUQQU Cream Foundation which applies so beautifully to create a light to medium coverage. That meant I could just top up areas that need full coverage with the Radiant Cream Concealer to keep the skin from all over looking too unnatural and heavy, but keep the base looking seamlessly perfected.
Of course I wanted add in a subtle hint of colour to keep the look from feeling flat amongst all the amazing styling, so I applied Designing Colour Eyes in shade 04 Ayanadeshiko with a large fluffy brush to create a really delicate shade of pink. It really speaks volumes of the quality of this eyeshadow that the pigment blended out so effortlessly, creating such a inviting and gentle hue with the exact effect I was hoping for!
Taking the radiance to the next level with a touch of the Shimmer Liquid Blush in Shade 01 Usumomokurumi in keeping of the rosy tones I was using for the colour make-up. SUQQU also had the perfect lipstick range for this occasion, the Sheer Matte Lipsticks.
With a shade range chosen to evoke an autumnal sense of presence and timelessness by lightly tinting the lips with a subtly sheer textured pigment, they are exactly what this look needed! I used shade 02 Hagikaze and it complimented the rest of the look perfectly, I couldn’t be happier with the finished result and that I chose to use SUQQU to bring my idea to life. If you like what you see don’t forget to pick up your copy for more bridal brilliance over at Belle Bridal.
