Born to Perform – A brand statement that these founders truly meant, Ed and Andy are both West End London performers used to sweating through gruelling schedule of rehersals for their own performances.  A background that inspires confidence when you find out the product behind the brand in question is a natural yet powerful deodorant balm. Under the hot stage lights and long hours of dedicated physical work, these two know what it means to need a deodorant you can rely on.

That’s just one of the reasons why I picked up the AKT Deodorant Balm, what really sold it to me was the consideration that has been taken into all aspects of its manufacturing. Made here in the UK, AKT pride themselves on being plastic free, recyclable, cruelty free and gender neutral. This is just a really good product made for anyone who’s been let down by deodorants of the past. The aluminum tubes come in an assortment of fun enticing colours and packed with even more alluring premium fragrances.

They all sounded equally amazing, but I went for The SC.05 Ext. Columbia Road, which as you can tell from the indentations of my eager morning hands ready to get on with the day, I’ve continued to come back to it time and time again. Their scent description is spot on, you can smell the zesty lemon and a delicate hues of fresh cut Violet and Iris. I feel transported to a perfect sunday morning wandering a vibrant London market, I feel the warmth of the cup they mention in my hands, except mines not a coffee, we all know by now it’s tea!

So I’m writing this blog to Ed and Andy, what a masterpiece you’ve created. Thank you, for my new favourite deodorant!
