Step into a sultry sepia toned bridal lingerie fantasy shot by Bowness Film in collaboration with Belle Bridal Magazine. Shot in the elegant Wyresdale Park where vintage furnishings and finishes laid the perfect back drop as it was bathed in gentle Lancashire sunlight.
The warm hues of brown woods, red hairs and creamy silks create a rich depth to lure in the eye as model Zara sets the scene of a sumptuous post ceremony celebration for only two.
Creating the makeup for this look called for something dimensional, using contrast to elevate the layers of the entire aesthetic, even when draped behind delicate tulle. For her face I began with mattifying products such as the Ariane Poole Shine Reducer and Primer Growth Alchemist for a flat base. Then followed up with REFY I created a dewy glow to select areas that really allowed the shine to pop against the base, including iridescent rosy cheeks and eyelids rich with shimmer.
Layering also came into play when creating Zara’s impeccable pout. Taking the pigemented payoff from one of my favourites, the Lisa Eldridge True Velvet Lip Colour, and creating an alluring satin sheen by adding Eucerin Lip Balm. A simple trick for bold bridal lips.
